Hey, hi, hello, and welcome to my official about me page on Medium. For some of you that might not know me, let me introduce myself.
I’m JennyB. A writer, content creator, advocate, life coach, chronic pain warrior, and 3X sepsis survivor.

Through my advocacy, I help teach pain sufferers how to navigate…
When kids become out of control and disrespectful teenagers, what should the parents do? Bring them on, Dr. Phil, of course.
Nothing screams that they’re a pushover and a doormat parent more than going on the Dr. Phil show for help to control their entitled bratty child.
The one that they enabled to have this horrible attitude since they continue to reward bad behavior.
One mother brought her sixteen-year-old beauty pageant daughter to talk with Dr. Phil since she has become harmful and deranged.
When you listen to the daughter talk and explain her side, you’ll quickly realize that she’s…
People love to give other people unsolicited advice. They mainly love to tell strangers when they’re doing something wrong even though it’s only considered wrong to the outsider because it’s not something they would do.
They will go as far as to leave nasty abusive comments on someone’s article, story, or even through email to call out the writer of the story that supposedly triggered them.
Why? Because the writer was brave enough to talk about a personal topic which the angry reader didn’t like.
If I wanted someone’s opinion, I would ask for it. I don’t accept random uncalled-for…
I started out planning to do a segment called “The End of the Month Round-Up,” where I’ll publish a new story on the last day of every month. The story will highlight everything that I posted and graced your eyes that month.
It would be my way of promoting stories of that month while also reminding anyone who may have missed a story or article during that time. After the End of the Month Round-Up for January and February, I decided to do something different.
Instead of showcasing every story and article published in that month, I’m going to display…
I hate April Fool’s Day. I think it’s a useless holiday. People are running around playing pranks on each other, then one of those pranks escalates, and someone either gets hurt or offended.
It happens every year. I mean, seriously, what’s the point of April Fool’s Day? And where does this childish holiday come from?
Some researchers contemplate that the holiday April Fool’s Day originated sometime in the year 1582, when France switched from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar, as called for by the Council of Trent in 1563.
People who were unaware that the start of the…
I love horror movies, especially those cheesy slasher movies from the 80s. Some of my favorites are the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, Children of the Corn — the original from 1984. Slumber Party Massacre, My Bloody Valentine, and many more.
Yesterday I watched a fun slasher movie from the early 2000s called Valentine.
It’s about a boy named Jeremy Melton who was teased and bullied by the other kids in school and was beat up and publicly humiliated during the sixth grade Valentine’s Day dance.
Fast forward thirteen years and the five girls who refused to dance with Melton…
“I took it because I didn’t think anyone would be coming back for it.”
That’s what a customer told me about stealing the $40 the previous customer left in the self-checkout. He gave the money back to the guy it belonged to and said, “integrity man, integrity.”
They laugh and fist bump like bros, and I roll my eyes while saying out loud, “unbelievable.” The guy who tried to steal the money has no idea what integrity means.
If that guy truly showed an act of integrity like he thought he was, then he would have turned in the $40…
This time last year in 2020, we were right in the middle of a nationwide freak out due to the pandemic.
People went full-blown psycho, trying to stock up on food and water like they weren’t going to leave their house for about three years.
I remember silently panicking to myself since I still had to go to work in the grocery store, which is a cesspool of germs. It was horrible.
Simultaneously, working and not knowing if I was going to catch the virus or get sick with a different illness that will weaken my immune system worse than…
We’ve all heard that incorporating daily exercise will improve our health. But can it improve our quality of life?
Several studies on the subject say yes, daily exercise is essential for a more prosperous life.
Not only will it help us to maintain a healthy weight, but it also helps improve our immune system to fight off any incoming diseases.
The last thing a chronic pain sufferer wants to hear from their pain management doctor or anyone for that matter is that they should try losing weight.
Even though no one wants to be told to lose weight by their…
Do you know what sounds exciting to me? Something I would be great at doing? A housewife. Yeah, you read that right.
Since I was little, I dreamed about being a housewife while my husband went to work and brings home an income to support the family.
I don’t exactly know why that scenario sounds appealing, but I think it has to do with the LDS culture I was raised into.
And the fact that I hate having to go to work at a job that I loathe. I have always been and still am traditional.
That also doesn’t mean…
